Blackpool Rangers v Staining

Blackpool Rangers   4    Staining  3

(Whitehouse 2, Whyte, Nimmo)

Rangers started well and found themselves one up early on when Jordan Whitehouse slipped the ball through to Oliver Nimmo who finished well into the bottom corner, just before half time Staining drew level. HT 1-1. Within minutes of the restart Staining went 2 1 in front, Rangers then played some of there best football of the season in the next 10 minutes, Oliver Nimmo set up Vinnie Whyte for our second and he obliged by smashing home from the edge of the box, 2 - 2, our third came after Vinnie’s shot was well saved but the rebound was put in by Jordan Whitehouse, 3-2. Jordan’s Second and our third was the best of the game as we passed the ball well and after about 7 passes down the left the ball fell to Calum Woodhead who fooled everybody into thinking he was going to shoot but instead pulled the ball back to Jordan who calmly placed the ball into the bottom corner, Staining pulled one back from a dodgy penalty decision and could of equalized when there best player hit the post in the last minute. Man of the match today went to two players who battled well all game Ryan Hancock and Ike Faraday, well done boys.

Squires Gate v Blackpool Rangers

Squires Gate 1 Blackpool Rangers 3
                       (Wilson Nimo Whitehouse)

For the third week running we found ourselves 1-0 down, this time i think it was in the first thirty seconds, the next twenty minutes we were second best to everthing and were very lucky to not go further behind, we then eventually started to play some good football and the chances started to come, firstly a good ball by vinnie to jordan, jordan hit it first time and the gate keeper made a fine save, then a good ball by jordan found jason who hit the target only to be foiled by the gate keeper again, eventually on twenty five minutes, vinnies through ball was flicked on by Jordan, which sent George clear and he cooly lobed the keeper to make the half time score 1-1

Rangers were superb in the second half and again the chances were coming, but we could not find a way past some fine defending and goal keping by the Squires Gate reargaurd, then with about ten minutes to go, a corner by Matthew was flicked on by a gate defender, the ball fell kindly to Oliver who lifted it over the impressive Gate keeper with the outside of his foot, superb finnish 1-2, With about three minutes to go Vinnie battled hard in midfield to win the ball , then beat one player and then put the ball of the game through to Jordan who sprinted away from the Gate defence and smash the ball home to make the game safe 1-3.

Special mention today must go to Jordan Whitehouse and Jason Dean for to fine performances, but man of the match goes to Jacob Horton who was superb at left back and center half, well done boys

Blackpool Rangers v South Shore

Blackpool Rangers 2 South Shore 3
(Whitehouse 2)

Rangers got off to a bad start which saw them fall behind early on, we then decided to start playing some decent football, this was rewarded with two fine goals, both from the returning Jordan Whitehouse, Rangers had many chances after this in the first half to put the game to bed but sadly non were converted. Half time 2-1

The second period was in total contrast to the first, with south shore first to every ball and winning everthing in the air, South Shore eventually got thier just rewards late on in the game, with two good goals. Full time 2-3

A big lesson learned today lads, we need to start competing in midfield and finnishng games off, and belive it or not, start playing the whole sixty minutes and not just for half a game.
